Banda Larga na Irlanda
Sobre os comentários que o leitor faz dois posts abaixo, vale a pena ler esta notícia do Digital Media Europe onde se diz que a Irlanda terá banda larga em todas as vilas com mais de 1500 habitantes já em 2007.
"Noel Dempsey, Ireland’s Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, announced in a speech Friday that Ireland has allocated €40m for communications, broadband infrastructure and multimedia initiatives in its 2006 budget.
The funding represents further delivery of the Broadband Action Plan announced in December 2003. The Plan’s main objective is to make high speed connectivity available to over 350,000 people in Ireland. With the newly announced funding, the country plans to have a broadband infrastructure rolled out to all towns in Ireland with a population over 1,500 by 2007."
